Standard Suet Pellets with Berries
Suet pellets are small pieces of suet, often including natural additives to give them an extra boost of colour and flavour. Our suet pellets with berries are comprised of cereals, oils and fats, with derivatives of vegetable origin, berries, minerals and red colourant to make them highly attractive to the wild birds visiting your garden. They are a highly versatile food, as they can be mixed into wild bird seed mixes or fed on their own as a complete food.
Suet pellets with berries are a highly nutritious food for birds, high in calories and fat which wild birds need to survive. Our suet pellets with berries are also high in Vitamin C, which helps birds develop strong immune systems. They are a great year-round food, but they are particularly great for winter feeding when wild birds need extra energy and fat in their diet. If you are using them in the summer we recommend hanging them out of direct sunlight, to prevent them softening.
Suet pellets with berries are great for a huge range of wild bird species, including blackbirds, finches, robins, starlings, nuthatches, wrens and sparrows. You can use them as a ground or table feed, or they can be used in bird feeders. Suet pellets can be used in most mesh or wire bird feeders, but to get the most out of them we would recommend a specially-designed suet pellet feeder.
